Howdy all! I’m in the market for a new vehicle and have found one that sounds awesome. The trouble is, I’m extremely biased as this is basically the only attainable dream car I can find.
Please let me know what you think of the price, what should I look out for, etc. Seems strange to me how it’s been so little used, and I have already researched the dealer and no red flags there. TIA!
If it matters, my current vehicle is a 2008 Prius with 140k miles (hence wanting to get out before the hybrid battery has issues, it currently has a water pump leak).

Thoughts? It’s purple.
Aside from that, I got nothing.

Accurate title should have been “look what I’ve bought, what do you all think?”

I don’t know much about these, but I think they’re really cool! My suggestion: take it for a PPI and if that checks out, buy it. Also, I wouldn’t worry about the low miles. SRT8 dodges are popular 2nd or 3rd cars for people who want better mileage in a daily but want something cool to drive around on the weekends.

I thinks it’s glorious and haz all the torques. Sign up for gas credit cards at all your local stations and buy an extended warranty. Then put the pedal to the metal.
They are surprisingly well-mannered cars that are comfy, yet handle well for their size. And they are fast.

Looks to be in awesome shape to me.
Two things worth mentioning:
1.) Going from a Prius to a 392 Hemi will be an... adjustment fuel wise. I figure you know that already though.
2.) The color is awesome but may be troublesome to fix if anything happens to it. This has a 3 stage paint job. Hopefully you won’t ever have to deal with that... but just wanted to mention it.

I am a bit disappointed they don’t carry the purple accents into the interior. It just seems like the logical extension of the whole package. 10/10 would hone.

I love uniqueness and unfortunately I now associate the Charger with rental fleets. But among those, a purple Super Bee SRT would be the way to go. I’m just not feeling sedans or FCA products lately — this is both.

Edit - flow master makes a system for these called “force 2” that has high flow resonators and mufflers. IMHO it’s a fantastic exhaust for this car - no drone, mild rumble daily driving, but has a great roar when you crack it open. Had an 11 R/T and it had that system. I assume they would have a similar system for the SRT. These are not as easy or cheap to modify like true muscle cars, i.e. mustangs and camaros. SRTs are fast from the factory, but don’t expect to hang with the new stang and it’s 10-speed. The world needs more purple cars!

Not sure the price is reasonable. I would have expected a car of this vintage to be down in the 20s.
I would always recommend a thorough inspection before purchase. That would tell you any risk items that you may not realise at first glance.
Hope things work out because these are fun cars.

So I don’t know what the Super Bee means, but I do know what SRT means. Still, that price is pretty high to me, close to starting MSRP for a new Charger R/T. I do like the Charger though, and that color is awesome. If you really want this one, and it fits your budget, be sure to do the PPI.

They’re interesting but wouldn’t want to own a FCA car.
They’re literally the worst built cars I’ve worked on.

You’d be surprised at the amount of tri-stage paint jobs out there now.
The paint suppliers have this figured our pretty well too. Just takes a talented painter to match.

They changed the SRT8 Super Bee trim into the R/T Scat Pack trim. Just means it has some SRT features but not all of them.

This thing is awesome.
Like others mentioned, it will be a drastic change from a Prius and the price might be a bit high. But it is purple and has a bee on it!

It’s only 3 years old and was like 50k new. It’s also an SRT.
